“Everyone has the right to request the availability of a digital website, mobile application or some element thereof. It is also possible to request that the information be made available through an alternative means of access, for example by reading a digitally inaccessible document, describing the content of a film without an audio description, etc. The request should include the identity of the person making the request, an indication of which website or mobile application is being requested and how to contact it. If the requesting person indicates a need to receive the information through an alternative means of access, they should also specify a convenient way of presenting the information. The public entity should comply with the request without delay and at the latest within 7 days from the request. If it is not possible to comply with this time limit, the public entity shall inform the requesting party without delay when the fulfilment of the request will be possible, but no later than 2 months from the date of the request. Where digital accessibility is not possible, the public body may propose an alternative means of accessing the information. Where a public body refuses to comply with a request for the provision of accessibility or an alternative means of accessing the information, the requester may lodge a complaint about the provision of digital accessibility of the website, mobile application or element of the website or mobile application].
After exhausting the procedure indicated above, a request may also be made to the Public Ombudsman.”
