The workshop, organized in cooperation with ARTE Foundation for Culture and Education, is aimed at children aged 7-10.
During the workshop, children will learn about this unusual method of notation, create their own compositions and try conducting. The workshop will end with a concert, during which musicians will perform graphic scores prepared by the participants.

Eira Bjørnstad Foss (NOR).
graduated from NTNU in Trondheim with a master’s degree in music performance. She currently lives in Trondheim and works in contemporary composed music and improvisation.
She is a key figure in the contemporary composed music scene in Norway, both as a performer and curator. She has performed works written especially for her as a soloist with the Trondheim Sinfonietta, and has premiered more than 30 works by young, creative composers from around the world with her ensemble Tøyen Fil og Klafferi. Their debut recording, Botanisk Hage, was nominated for a Norwegian Grammy Award in 2021 in the category of best contemporary music album of the year.
Ida Løvli Hidle (NOR)
Accordionist with many premieres to her credit. Among her many awards, she won First Prize at the “International Competition for Accordion Soloists” in Belgium in 2012. She has given solo concerts all over the world, from China to Canada, France, Russia and Germany. She has collaborated with composers such as Sofia Gubaidulina, with a new edition of her solo piece “Et Expecto.” Her almost limitless repertoire includes contemporary, folk, tango, jazz and classical music. She is a founding member of the jazz orchestra “Skadedyr” and has worked as a Kapellmeister while touring with the Malmø Opera.
Matilda Rolfsson (SWE)
Swedish improviser and percussionist based in Trondheim, Norway. With a diverse sound and textural approach to playing the 20-inch bass drum, percussion and snare drum, Matilda can be heard solo or in constellations with top improvising musicians and choreographers/dancers from Europe and Scandinavia.
